The Inertia

If you’re doing any type of yoga properly, you are engaging you abs and core. In fact, most of our daily movements also require core strength, and we need the abdominal muscles just to stand up straight. However, sometimes we need an extra kick. This almost full length class from Tim Senesi (51 minutes) will lengthen and strengthen the entire body, but it also places an emphasis on working the core. Some poses simply require the abs to be engaged for balance, while other poses target the ab muscles directly. Regardless, by the end of the class your core will feel be feeling the burn.

As always, please exercise caution when attempting these exercises. Pay attention to form, and take time to transition with care in between poses.
