Having a solid foundation allows you to build upon it. It’s true for houses, and it’s true for your body and for your surfing. You need a strong base (aka your legs and butt) to help you compress off the bottom, absorb shocks coming up the face of the wave, and to pack a punch coming off the top. Building leg strength doesn’t get much easier than this workout. It’s only 10 minutes long, and it doesn’t require any equipment. Plus, you’ll even burn some energy too. Give it a try, and please use caution when attempting this workout.
