A massive search party has been issued at a popular beach in Los Angeles, as lifeguards desperately search for a man who went missing shortly after he went for a swim around 5:15 p.m. this evening.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a 25-year-old male was last seeing entering the water near Tower 18 at Manhattan Beach. There is some concern about the man’s safety considering the sizable south swell that arrived in Southern California late Monday evening.
Several helicopters are assisting with the search, as well as Manhattan Beach Fire and Police Departments. The whereabouts of the male is still undetermined. We are dedicated to bringing you more news on this event as it comes. Check back for more updates.
