It was an even bigger shocker to see him on the winner’s podium, considering the way Julian Wilson was surfing the whole contest. After being relegated back to the QS, many wondered if he’d ever return. Then, in February, something brilliant happened. Seabass was called up to the plate after an ongoing injury forced Alejo Muniz to bow out of Snapper.
