The Inertia

New Zealand is a bitchin’ place to be. Especially if you’re a surfer. It’s exposed to all different kinds of swells from all different directions. Plus, the chances of scoring a five-star session with not another person in sight is so common that it sickens me just thinking about it. Combine this beautiful element with some of the most scenic, green rolling hills in the world and what you have is a surfer’s paradise. Recently, New Zealand’s Alex Dive went barrel hunting around the northern East Coast, searching for some untapped kegs and beautiful backdrops. As the video illustrates, he found exactly what he was looking for.
