Meet Izzy. His real name is Israel Preciado, and he’s the newest member of Howler‘s team. He’s one the happiest people you’ll ever meet. From Sayulita, Mexico, Izzy has been surfing for more than two decades, and although he considers himself a longboarder, he’ll ride just about anything.
He does a few things outside of surfing–aside from surf lessons, he also sells real estate in Sayulita. But one of his proudest achievements (apart from his newborn daughter) is something called Mexi Log Fest, an event he organizes without much help from corporate surf companies. “To see amazing longboarders from all over the world sharing waves, having a great time plus some of them make some good money,” he says. “More importantly, they make more friends and keep on sharing the stoke and beauty of longboarding. That, my friend, makes it all worthwhile.”
