We all know that Brazil has been flamed by the world for conditions in the country leading up to the 2016 Summer Olympics, which are right around the corner, for everything from water quality at different venues to the Zika Virus. But you’d think the Olympic gods would at least shine on the poor souls carrying the Olympic torch in its traditional procession across the host nation.
This woman just couldn’t make it any further. But she came out looking okay with it all.
Then, iconic Brazilian swimming coach Joao Reynaldo Costa Lima Neto was red-faced after face planting in the streets of Pernambuco (below). To top it off, Brazilian television reporter Henrique Arcoverde (above) landed on his backside during a night procession. Here’s hoping they turn things around before the Games start August 5th in Rio.
