For members of the surf tribe that reside on the west coast of the United States, or virtually anywhere in the world with more consistent wave action than the eastern seaboard, you may be saying to yourself, “Enough is enough.” There has been an explosion of coverage from our eastern brethren of late, given back to back hurricanes Gaston and Hermine delivered much needed swell to an oft wave starved region.
With edit after edit, and photo gallery after photo gallery, though it can be overwhelming. It can also be difficult to sort through the mediocrity to find a the good stuff. Here though, we humbly present to you the good stuff. Adequately capturing the anticipation of an oncoming hurricane, and the high velocity thumping track that matches the level of psyche when it actually delivers. Yes, when New Yorkers harken back 60 years from now to the Hermine swell, they’ll direct their grandkids to this little edit.
