The Inertia

There is perhaps nothing more anxiety inducing than being stuck below the surface of the ocean, short on air, trying with all your might to swim to the surface only to take another wave on the head and be held under even longer. The experience is a universal equalizer, albeit occurring at waves of higher consequence among more seasoned surfers.

Here Chris Lewis creates a visually stunning 1-minute flick that captures the turbulence beneath the surface and nothing else. A warning to potential viewers, it may quickly remind you of the last time you braved a two wave hold down, and all the stress that came with it.
