This is one of the weirdest moves ever. And raddest. All at the same time. Gabe Taube, a little-known Lake Tahoe-based skier, damaged the Internet with this 11 second clip where he pulls off a hand-drag Dub only inches off the ground (he was literally centimeters from taking the impact on his neck). Pretty rad little park move he has down. It’s actually supposed to look like this:
Notice Gabe kinda throws a little cork into it. This guy is awesome to watch on a pair of skis. He has that innate ability—see Jay Adams—to start into a move, get totally committed, start to loose it and just go with his momentum so everything works out. Check out the below clip. He gets bounced onto his hip and just rides it out to land switch. Pretty steezy athlete:
