The end of October was a good time for surfers in Portugal who like to surf waves on a whole different scale. As the charts lit up with the first real big wave swell for Nazaré’s most famous wave, surfers near and far readied their guns and checked their straps. One day stood out during that swell: Big Monday.
Carlos Burle, Coco Nogales, Sebastian Steudtner, Lucas Chumbinho, and Alex Botelho were among the few who braved the massive waves.
