The Inertia

You know what sucks about living in Southern California? Crowds. They’re inescapable, whether you’re on the freeway or in the lineup. But when fall rolls around, things change a little. The waves get a little less crowded, the temperature drops a bit, and the swells get a little more powerful. Santa Anas blow, and every now and then, one of the bigger swells collides with that howling offshore wind. Such was the case last week when Dillon Perillo packed the truck, put the US in the rearview, and headed to Baja for the day. Best day trip ever?
