Fabio Wibmer is fun to watch on a bike. Dude shreds. But this looked painful. Wibmer had a hallucination-like vision of charging on a, “granny bike.” You know, the ones you’d see your grandmother using to ride to the grocery store or to her friend’s house. Or maybe on the bike path near the river. “I actually had a pretty crazy dream of me riding an old ladies’ bike half a year ago,” he told Pink Bike. “And from that day on, I wanted to make it happen in reality. I worked out a concept, went to Saalbach and Leogang (Austria) with my film crew and made it happen.”
Something definitely happened. Mostly Wibmer destroying himself trying to ride a modern downhill course on a bike from the 1980s. Still, entirely entertaining to watch. Here’s the full vid, fittingly titled, Out of Mind:
