The Inertia

Sometimes (all the time?) the rat race is overwhelming. Few enjoy the monotony of responding to emails, which, rather ironically, one survey found U.S. workers spent an average of over 6 hours a day doing. It’s a means to an end for most, but focusing on the minute-to-minute, hour-to-hour of each workday distracts from the big picture. Every once in a while, escape is necessary.

Alex Smith understands the lifelong benefits of escape. And although the tropical archipelago of Indonesia looks similar to Alex’s native Hawaii, it doesn’t mean it’s any less thrilling to explore the unfamiliar. Amazing waves, natural beauty, and a water slide? Excuse us while we book a few flights to Indo.
