The Inertia

Downhill mountain bikers are looking for very specific things. And mostly it’s about the dirt. They need soft dirt, so they can use different techniques like letting their tails drift to control speed, but not too soft so they bog and lose speed completely. The high desert terrain around Kamloops, British Columbia seems to be perfect. KC Deane, with the help of Mason Mashon, found this zone that’s like skiing couloirs on wheels.
