Justin Burbage is a professional skateboarder. He also lives in his van – a 1989 VW Syncro. Why, you ask? According to Justin it was a matter of what he wants out of life. Living in Venice, he was paying a decent price for a spot on the beach, until his rent doubled. “I realized that every time I paid rent I was basically paying for a ticket to travel around the world,” he says. The new digs are pretty rad. But is #vanlife really worth it? According to Justin it is.
