Beer and surfing seem to go hand-in-hand. You’ve likely heard of Balter Brewing, a beer company from Bede Durbidge, Mick Fanning, Joel Parkinson and Josh Kerr. Well, Nate Yeomans and Tanner Gudauskas and dipping their hand in the vat with PassionNATE Blonde, a limited edition beer made by Left Coast Brewing Co.
It’s not going to be available for long, though–just a few short months this spring and summer–and it looks like you’ll have to head to Left Coast Brewing Company’s tasting room in the center of California’s surfing universe, San Clemente.
“San Clemente boasts some of the best surfing in the world with some of the best surfers in the world living right here in our own backyard,” said Tommy Hadjis, general manager of Left Coast Brewing Co in a press release. “We wanted to celebrate that by partnering with Nate and Tanner, two award-winning local surf icons, to create something special together and dedicate our efforts to a cause like Positive Vibe Warriors that we could all feel ‘PassionNATE’ about.”
Part of each sale will be donated to the Gudauskas charity, Positive Vibe Warriors Foundation, which “aims to educate youth on ocean safety, education, and preservation.”
