Arpad Gland just turned 16. He hails from Belgium, a land better known for its waffles and chocolate than for producing groms that know how to properly thread an Indonesian tube. Belgium’s coast, all 40-or-so miles of it, relies on one of the most fickle wave zones on the planet – the North Sea. But hey, once you’ve got the bug why not head to greener pastures, tame wild beasts, and turn heads in the process.
“I just edited up this quick piece of a young Belgian kid, Arpad Leclere, I’ve been working with and he’s been blowing my mind,” says videographer Justis St. John. “He just turned 16 and is pretty nuts in barrels.”
