We are all made up from bits and pieces of experience – glimpses of inspiration that at times are hard to trace. Sometimes it’s something as simple as a single photo leaving a deep impression on a young mind.
For Chris Burkard, one Ansel Adams photo still gives him the inspiration to get out and explore. “To be honest, it wasn’t necessarily his photographs that were so meaningful to me,” he says. “It was his drive and his sense of adventure.”
This short film follows Burkard as he goes on a trip to carry out that same spirit. We retrace his steps as a photographer who is constantly on the road and see what inspires him now.
