The Inertia

Virtual reality might seem kinda lame to those of us with full mobility. But for those that’ve been stricken with serious mobility issues, it can mean the world. Evan Gadda is a student at the University of Nevada, Reno who’s been in a wheelchair for a good portion of his life. A research team at UNR was able to give him a gift: as a performance artist, they were able to take him to the Playa at Burning Man. And as a former skier, they were able to show him the slopes of Squaw Valley. His reaction was priceless. If you want to skip to the VR segment you can click to 2:37 in the vid above but the whole story is pretty cool.
