In this video, you’ll learn about the discovery of Trestles and how it took some Beach Boys, a president and a lot of luck to keep one of California surf culture’s most iconic locations alive.
San Onofre State Beach was first surfed my Lorrin “Whitney” Harrison and quickly became “the spot.” Much of California’s surf culture is rooted right here. Holding hundreds surf championships and home to many world class surfers, it can easily be called the “Home of Champions.”
