When Benjamin Sanchis’ dispatch video from 24 hours he recently spent in the West African nation of Senegal slid across our desks this morning, we stopped cold. “Look at this wave!” said Dylan referring to the well-groomed grinder around 33 seconds. “That first wave he takes off on though at 38 seconds!” was Juan’s rebuttal. We’ve heard through the grapevine that Senegal gets good, but having never tasted its fruit ourselves we didn’t know it could get this good.
