Since Cloudbreak is blowing up in ways it hasn’t for years, it is stealing all the thunder from all the other amazing waves in the area. As it should, perhaps, but let’s not forget the little brother, Restaurants. That same swell turned it on like a teenage boy in a strip club, and Kelly Slater, along with a few others who didn’t feel like donning a floatation vest and tempting fate at Cloudbreak, came to dinner.
