Are you a runner? Do you tie your shoes onto your feet, stretch your hamstrings, and wear small shorts? Do you jump up and down at stop lights so your heart rate doesn’t slow? Do you take pride in how fast you can get from point A to point B? Well, you ain’t got shit on .
Those two ran 1504 km—just over 935 miles—over the Great Himalaya Trail. And get this: they did it THREE DAYS faster than the record, which was set in 2016 by a guy named Andrew Porter. In all, they ran one on the world’s hardest trails in 25 days, fouf hours, and 24 minutes. Along the way, of course, they battled frost bite, rolled ankles, a serious lack of sleep, and in one of the least-expected things to enounter, a gang.
It was March 25, 2018 when they hit the border of Nepal, officially crossing the finish line of the run, and it’s not likely to be broken any time soon.
