Koa Rothman’s been on a heater. A six-month-long heater to be exact. When the younger Rothman first entered the YouTube vlog scene, we have to admit we weren’t sure what to expect. It’s a crowded space, believe it or not. But, after 37 weekly episodes, This Is Livin’ has quickly become a must-watch around the office.
From historic swells in Fiji and Nias to minutes-long barrels at Skeleton Bay, the surfing in This Is Livin’ goes without saying. But, Koa’s status as veritable North Shore surf royalty gives us a new window into life along the Seven Mile Miracle. We’ve been along for the ride at the Eddie Ceremony and flies on the wall for Honolulu premieres of Aquaman, for example.
Now, Koa just dropped a 28-minute wrap of the last few months of his wild YouTube journey in what he calls This Is Livin’ The Movie that’s definitely worth a watch, especially if you didn’t catch all of the vlog’s earlier eps.
