The Inertia

Travis Rice recently got a wildcard into the Freeride World Tour’s first stop in Hakuba, Japan. He proceeded to lay down a winning run that pretty much blew the minds of everyone watching.

“The judges agreed to give 95 points out of 100,” said Lolo Besse, Freeride World Tour Head Judge. “The only reason was because a few more riders were left to go. It would have been 100 score points. It was one of the most complete runs in the Freeride World Tour that we’ve ever seen.”

Above, you can see what Rice saw as he nailed what has become a historic line. And here, if you’re so inclined, is what he was thinking as he stomped it.
