The Inertia

We all like to say the value of any good surf trip is often measured in moments shared between friends. You make new ones. You bond with old ones. You typically remember the hours on end spent looking for waves, the excitement of making an entirely new discovery, and everything that went into making that moment a reality more than the surfing itself.

But then again, let’s be real. When you first roll out the idea of booking a flight or loading up the car with as many boards as you can find, the voice in your head isn’t saying, “think of all those friends!” No, you’re working into a frenzy over the waves. All the waves. Oh so many waves. And that’s exactly why most would likely do unspeakable things to have a trip under their belt with Noah Beschen, Shane Borland, and Oscar Langburne (not to mention the wave count). Here, the three young surfers trek through Australia and enjoy a healthy portion of what one might call “favorable conditions.”

They scored.
