Jamie O’Brien and Friends Enjoy a Casual Summer Day of Logging would certainly be a more shocking headline these days. It wouldn’t be more compelling, though. And nobody would watch it. So instead, the man partakes in and films antics like this day of absolute carnage in the world-class shorebreak of Sandys.
Now, as we’ve just mentioned, stuff like this is par for the course with J.O.B. but you actually need to give it up to O’Brien for this particular one. There are some impressive displays of guts and athleticism amongst his crew of professionals like world champ Jeff Hubbard, whom O’Brien eventually decides to join in a tandem bodyboard session. This may actually inspire you to get out and hit some shorebreak yourself, to be honest, knowing everybody here survives all the carnage. That’s not to say there aren’t plenty of stitches earned along the way.
