We get it, some days you wake up and all you want to see is a little shred motivation. You want to see somebody making fluffy turns in eyebrow-deep powder. You want to see rooster tails a mile long while some lucky son of a gun is blazing a trail through an untouched line. You want to watch these things and get pumped up for your own pursuit of such joyous moments.
But we also know what’s on the other side of that coin. We know there’s a good chance you’re watching all this in 1080p on your laptop at work, slaving the day away in an office somewhere which in turn, bums you out. “What am I doing with my life?” you may ask.
“We hope it inspires you to use your time wisely,” write the folks at Quiksilver, who just debuted Sammy Carlson’s new short, OVER TIME. “After all, if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere, winter is on its way.”
The film is equal parts inspiration and shredspiration. Laid down to a soundtrack of Les Brown’s motivational speaking, you get to watch Carlson’s unmistakable style and flow through the British Columbian backcountry.
After all, there are few better ways to spend your time.
