Red Lodge, Montana, in case you hadn’t heard of it, is already having a season of seasons. Early fall storms have created a fantastic base at many Montana resorts, in fact, pushing stoke levels to all-time highs. Red Lodge, near Billings, is reporting some 80 inches as a base before its season has even started (Red Lodge doesn’t start spinning lifts until November 29).
