From V-land to Haleiwa and everywhere in between, the fabled waves that run into that fabled stretch of coast are the stuff of legend. That’s why the Rip Curl women’s team spends a lot of time there. It is, after all, the proving grounds, and if there’s anything left to prove, the women have already proved it.
When it comes to proving things, Bethany Hamilton is at the top of the pecking order. That’s why she showed up to the Rip Curl house to give the team a rundown of how things work. But by the looks of things, they’ve got it handled.
