You may have heard of Chad and JT? They’re masters of spoof who love to show up at Southern California city council meetings and be as random as possible (which is really funny). They’ve also done some hilarious segments on social media: like Chad’s reactions to the audio book, 50 Shades of Grey, one of our favorites.
This time Chad and JT crash a Newport Beach, Calif. city council gathering seeking “restitoosh,” for the city putting sand in skateparks during the pandemic lockdown. Only problem? That happened in San Clemente and Los Angeles. Not Newport says city officials.
“I’m cool not shredding Creek during lockdown,” pleads Chad. “I’m cool not working, I don’t even have a job, but I’m not cool with sand in the skateparks.”
“We don’t have a skatepark,” replies a city council person.
“Skaters don’t even have an emoji. You got one for surfers, salsa dancers, even skiers…..I can still hear the sound of sand crunching in my bearings. Skaters need restitoosh from the city so we can ollie our way out of this conundrum.”
