Mason Ho likes a different kind of wave than most surfers. Well, the wave itself might be something most surfers like, but the bottom… well, that’s a different story. Give the man a jagged, shallow reef covered in urchins with a few sections that are completely dry, and he’s happy. He’s got a partner in crime, too, which likely makes things even more fun. Mason, along with Sheldon Paishon, found a spot that suited their style of surfing down to the ground. “A spot on very shallow jagged reef infested with sea urchins,” they wrote. “Happy days.”
