Everyone hates vertical cell phone footage. It’s a universal truth and phones, if the user even attempts to film vertically, should immediately explode in said user’s hand, if only to teach them a hard lesson. But if said user on said phone is filming Clay Marzo… well, it’s forgivable. But only because Clay Marzo’s surfing is also very vertical and damn it, we don’t see enough of it.
