You remember Innersection, yeah? It was a great thing, that contest. People all over the world submitting sections in hopes of making the final cut. Not everyone did, of course, and we were left with a final product that was as good as it was unique. That meant that a whole lot of submissions were left on the cutting room floor, like the one you see above. Totally average surfer. Totally shitty waves. And not waves in the ocean. But whatever. The guy is surfing.
“The first and only Innersection entry not from the ocean,” wrote Taylor Steele on The Momentum Files. “Novelty value at best, but good fun whatever and how’s the production value? Enough to make you shake in your booties… The rubberman here is known as Jason Stang. Nice work, buddy. Shoulda won the whole damn thing.”
