Some of the best surf trips are the last minute ones. The surf trip that you didn’t know you were going on until you were going on them. The ones where you didn’t know where you were going until you got there. The ones where a question mark hovers constantly.
Such was the case with Billabong’s Adventure Division trip that you see above, where Ryan Callinan, Joel Parkinson, Laura Enever, Jai Glindeman, Micah Margieson, Dylan Longbottom, and Lennix Smith packed the necessary gear and headed off into the wild yonder of southern Australia.
“Those unpredictable or those last minute trips where you get up super early and you’ve got the plan to just throw the swag in the car and see where you end up,” Ryan Callinan said, “they’re the most exciting ones.”
