Ericeira, Portugal is the shiniest gem in Portugal’s surfing crown. If you visit Portugal on a surf trip, chances are very good that you’ll end up there for at least a little while. If you don’t, you blew it. It’s beautiful, the waves are amazing, and it’s one of the most consistent areas for surf in the entire country.
Ericeira is also a lively little town, full of pretty little whitewashed buildings and a large number of surfers. Raw Days, a video series that features a day at some of the world’s best surf spots, recently gifted the internet the short video you see above, and if it doesn’t make you want to go to Portugal, nothing will. Well, that’s not entirely true… just about everything about Portugal will make you want to go there.
