The World Surf League’s Getting Heated has become a fun part of the surfing conversation. Not as fun as the wave riding, of course, but tangentially fun. Related to the real fun. In short, it’s a handful of surfers and surf talkers looking at each other through their computer screens and arguing nicely with one another. If there’s one thing that surfing has, it’s characters, so the revolving door of guests makes the whole thing very interesting.
In the most recent installment, the folks in charge decided that they’d feature a roundup of the funniest heats of the season. It’s a follow up to the previous episode, where they looked at the hottest debates.
