The fall hasn’t been too bad on the North Shore. Ahead of the winter rush, there’ve been a few intermittent swells that have kept surfers on the Seven Mile Miracle engaged. But nothing keeps surfers “engaged” like a good couch surfing session – which is of course a Jamie O’Brien specialty. And if you’re not into the couch surfing, Jamie gets in a legitimate session at Backdoor (at the 13-minute mark) as the swell comes up ahead of that full-on winter rush.
