Sharks are both amazing and terrifying to see, especially if they’re directly underneath you. They are not, as you might’ve heard, mindless killers hell-bent on rending flesh from bone. Instead, they’re perfectly evolved to be nearly flawless hunters, and although we’re not really on the menu, sometimes, in very rare instances, we fall prey to them. Understandably, many people have a deep-seated fear of them. But some people don’t, and apparently the stand-up paddleboarder you see at the 1:20 mark in the video above is one of the latter.
