The Berrics skatepark is a good place to ride a skateboard. Created by Steve Berra and Eric Koston, it’s not generally full of water. So it must have seemed slightly sacrilegious to drag a hose in there, turn it on full blast, and soak the floors, but soak the floors they did.
It was part of a day of indoor skimboarding that included Adrien Raza, a four-time European Flatland Skimboarding Champion and the Skid Kids.
“Adrien has revolutionized the sport of skimboarding by taking a whole new approach,” the Skid Kids wrote. “He has grown an incredible following on his social media channels because of his urban skimboarding.
What followed was a day that likely won’t be repeated anytime soon — but judging by the smiles on everyone’s faces, they’re crossing their fingers that it will be.
