The Florence brothers have descended on J-Bay en masse. Luckily, Florences are like peanut butter and chocolate, or cigarettes and coffee, or the Planeteers – good on their own, but much better together. In the latest YouTube vlog from Nate Florence, we get to see why.
At the top of the video, Nate outlines the plan for the day. “Surf, coffee, eat, head to the animal park, coffee, drive in, coffee, look at some creatures, come back, coffee. That’s it.” Aside from what sounds like a possibly life-ending amount of caffeine, the plan is a solid one. The waves are firing, the family is all there, and there is no shortage of incredible scenery to take in when roaming South Africa. What results is the rare YouTube video that is equal parts surf edit and wildlife documentary.
