Any time Maverick’s wakes up from its slumber is worthy of note. The most recent glimpse of the giant came on Thursday, March 27, when the terror in Half Moon Bay was awoken by an oncoming storm swell. YouTube channel Powerlines Productions presents us with footage of the proceedings, on a day that could be described as ‘unruly’ to say the least.
Of course, a day of pumping Maverick’s would be nothing without the usual crowd of psychopaths showing up to greet the waves. This time, the lineup consisted of a small group of tow surfers that included the likes of Drake Stanley, Ryan Augenstein and Jack Snyder.
The conditions were far from ideal, but among the chaos there were some genuine scores do be had. Check out the rest in the video below.
