Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch in Lemoore, California may have once been the world’s most technically advanced wave, but since then it’s progressed to becoming the most star-studded. The chlorinated break seems to see an endless rotation of celebrities, with Matthew McConaughey, Lewis Hamilton, Julianne Hough, Chris Hemsworth, Drew Brees, Tony Hawk, Shaun White, and Eddie Vedder all having made appearances.
One of the more unlikely figures to take to the ranch’s water was British royal family member Prince Harry. Last year, an edit from Surf Ranch coach (and champion of stoke) Raimana Van Bastolaer showed the royal making an assisted takeoff, followed by some careful trimming down the line. Shortly afterwards, Harry was seen getting shacked.
It seems that the experience only whetted the aristocrat’s thirst for tubes, as a recent post from Meghan Markle depicted him once again taking to the waves – this time with distinctly elevated confidence. She playfully captioned the post with a fox emoji and soundtracked the clip with the 1993 Salt-N-Pepa hit “Whatta Man.”
