The average day for Mason Ho is probably one most surfers would dream of, whether it’s effortlessly ripping empty boneyards near his Hawaiian home, or going on strike missions around the world on a sponsor’s dime. So that means that whatever experience he would call a “Dream Day” must be pretty incredible.
Yet that’s what he labeled his latest experience in Indonesia, as documented in a recent post to his YouTube channel. Like most Ho productions, it does not disappoint from the get-go. The edit starts off with a picturesque boat-ride through Indonesian waters, as a school of dolphins playfully surfs at the bow.
Then they get to what they came there for: ripping. From Mason’s POV, we get a little glimpse of what it’s like to be out there dodging rocks and chasing tubes, all with the backdrop of a glimmering sunset.
It doesn’t get much better than that.
