The Inertia

Club Med’s ski offerings have traditionally been limited to the French Alps, but that has been changing in recent years. The all-inclusive resort company recently announced the second part of its North American expansion, to be located in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec.

Club Med Tremblant is expected to open in December of 2028. A press release from the company promises “a premium all-inclusive mountain experience, drawing inspiration from a contemporary Alpine Chalet merging a playful charm with a refined warm and inviting atmosphere, reflecting the lively, welcoming environment that defines the Club Med experience.” The facility will offer a host of both summer and winter amenities.

The project is a collaboration with Club Med, French management company Alderan and Station Mont-Tremblant. The Station Mont-Tremblant part of the agreement focuses on ski school offerings, as well as commitments to implement a series of significant upgrades to the mountain to improve slope conditions, guest flow and overall mountain amenities.

The resort will become Club Med’s second ski offering in North America, and a major step in Club Med’s strategy for North American expansion. The only currently operating Club Med ski resort on the continent is Club Med Québec Charlevoix at Le Massif, which opened in 2021.

“Canada continues to be a key market in our North American growth strategy,” said Carolyne Doyon, president and CEO of Club Med North America and the Caribbean. “With the upcoming opening of Club Med Tremblant, we are thrilled to introduce a new destination offering an original premium all-inclusive mountain experience — providing immersive, one-of-a-kind vacations that have defined Club Med for decades.”
