Stars, they’re just like us. Well, kind of. More often they do the same things we do, but a significantly better and more expensive version. Like Chris Hemsworth and surfing.
The Marvel alum is frequently seen on a board in social media posts. We’ve seen him at exotic destinations like Swiss wave pools, empty tropical beaches, and Kelly Slater’s Abu Dhabi monstrosity. It’s hard to not feel just a little twinge of jealousy, but the brief sensation is tempered by Hemsworth’s infectious enthusiasm and legitimate ability to rip (so much so, that the idea has been bandied about of giving him a Championship Tour wildcard).
Thor’s latest envoy in the surfing world was another enviable surf trip. This time it was a Christmas jaunt to Fiji’s Tavarua Island Resort. Based on an Instagram carousel he posted, the family experienced sunset boat rides in Santa hats, reef rash, family bonding, and plenty of barrel time.
Merry Christmas, indeed.
