I’m Alberto Carmagnani, a freelance photographer based in Genoa. As you probably know, Italy is not one of the surf meccas of the world as Mediterranean Sea swells are infrequent and short lived. Those defects, however, can also be seen as virtues. For a photographer living in this scene, it is very challenging. We have to adapt our style to the situation at hand and must use all our knowledge of technique and imagination to take good images.
