There’s nothing quite like idea of the open road to drag you out of a midweek funk and have you dreamin’ umpteen miles away from wherever you’re laying waste, paying the bills. Like the gear-headed folk at Deus, Corona decided to pop the top off a cold one and hit the pavement to explore the ever-entertaining Mexico. And while the waves were good and plenty, there was a higher purpose: to bring creative, talented individuals from all walks — from surfers Ozzie Wright and Dylan Graves to musician Hanni El Khatib, skateboarder Andrew Brophy, artists Jeff Canham and Rose Ashton — to get lost on the back roads of our southern neighbor’s coast in hopes of finding a common thread binding these inspired souls. And when you have the best sorts of people piling into a decommissioned transporter for seven days and seven nights of pure, sun-soaked stoke, you’re in for an adventure to remember.
