Drone photography and videography has quickly made his ascent as one of the most enjoyable angles in surfing. And one videographer/photographer has pretty much led the charge: Eric Sterman. He’s done it from above everyone else – buzzing and whirring, his drones give us some of the best, and previously unattainable, angles on some of the world’s best waves that simply weren’t being shot by others.
In this super cut, locations shot on DJI Phantoms and other quadcopters include California, the Maldives and Noosa Point, among others. While Sterman has one clip of the many featured in this cut, you may see more of his work on The Inertia.
